Earlier in his career he jointly established and built one of the largest and most financially successful financial futures brokers. From starting with less than a dozen employees it rapidly grew and at its peak employed 140 staff. Over the years, Richard has grown an impressive worldwide network of contacts. Richard knows it’s all about empowering the next generation, as he is a mentor and a podcast host alongside former business partner David Buik.
Growing up, he was educated in North London and chose not to go down the traditional path of university when offered a job as a board boy with the stockbrokers Philips & Drew in 1973.
